Hope aka Gulliver

The original is an earlier watercolor ink drawing that has stuck with me forever. Over time I realized that the demon in the lower left is cowering in terror from the strong light coming up from the corner. The strong shadows and the after storm green that surrounds the bound contorted figure stretched out suggests to me that what ever it is tying him down surrounded by barking dogs and scowling demons is soon over. The demon is afraid of the good light. The image at first reminded me of Gullivers Travels but it grew to mean much more over time.
